WHAT IS A LIVE RELEASE RATE?
A live release rate refers to the percentage of pets that leave the shelter alive. This includes pets that are adopted, returned to their owners, or transferred to other shelters or rescue organizations. A high live release rate is a positive indicator of a shelter's success in finding homes for pets and reducing euthanasia rates. It is often used as a measure of the shelter's effectiveness and its commitment to animal welfare.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
I adopted 2 kittens at the Mega event in Ft Worth. The staff was amazing from the Humane Society. Lead me through the process and assisted me when my chronic illness prevented me from finalizing the adoptions. Thanks to all.
