Spay/Neuter Surgery
By spaying or neutering your pet, you are helping to prevent certain cancers, a variety of behavioral issues, and the birth of unwanted puppies and kittens! Thank you for taking action to help keep your pet healthy and happy. Some restrictions apply (age and weight).
The HSNT Clinic offers spay & neuter surgeries to North Texas residents regardless of residency or income. Dogs range from $60 - $80, and cats range from $40 - $50.
Trap-Neuter-Return
(TNR) Services
If you are a resident of Fort Worth, please email Fort Worth Animal Care and Control to learn more about free TNR services. If you are unable to schedule with the City of Fort Worth for free TNR services, please schedule an appointment at HSNT’s Clinic through our normal process (cat TNR is a flat fee of $30).
If you need a humane trap in order to safely catch a feral or community cat, the refundable fee for the trap is $25. Please email clinic@hsnt.org or call our clinic at 817.332.4768 x112.
Traps will be available to pick up Monday - Friday,
9 am - 5 pm.
Low-Cost Vaccinations
As Part of Petco Love’s Initiative to Provide 1 Million Free Pet Vaccines, HSNT Will Distribute Free Pet Vaccines in Its Clinic While Supplies Last, Appointments Are Required. The free vaccines include the DAPPv canine and HCP feline vaccines only. Additional services are available through HSNT’s Clinic at normal low-cost pricing such as rabies vaccines, microchipping, heartworm testing, and flea and tick preventatives.
There are no residency or income requirements. It is recommended that you bring your pet’s vaccination records. All pets must be in a secure carrier or on a leash.
Rae of Hope
Research shows that senior citizens with pets enjoy a variety of physical and mental health benefits. Unfortunately, many seniors are forced to surrender their pets because they have a difficult time providing their pets with basic veterinary care. In 2014, HSNT started our Rae of Hope Program to address this issue and help keep seniors & pets where they belong, with their loving owners.
