We got Ruby (formally known as Cookie) at the Lancaster shelter last summer. We fell in love the moment we laid eyes on her. She was the only puppy not barking, and was curled up in a little ball sleeping. My husband needed a few days to think about it and told me if she was still there in three days, then we would take her home. She was meant to be ours, because three days later she was still there waiting for us! She was terrified of everyone and everything when we brought her home. Now Ruby loves everyone, she thinks everyone is here on earth to see her. She also loves playing with other dogs, especially at doggie day camp. She hated riding in the car, and now she loves to hang her head out the window and go for rides all day! She was scared to use the bathroom outside, but now she constantly rings a bell to go out to use the bathroom (mostly to play). A few of her favorite things include peanut butter Kongs, meeting new human and furry friends, playing with her dad, and snuggling with her mom! Needless to say she has overcome her fears because we were able to adopt from you guys and give her the love and confidence she needs. We love her so much, and couldn't imagine life without this silly, sweet puppy. Thank you for all you do, we are so blessed to have found her through you guys!
